This course has been designed to give you the freedom and flexibility to learn from your desk and take what you have learned and apply it immediately to your particular situation. You can take up to seven days to complete each unit and you will have a further seven days to submit your assignment for that unit.
We try to accommodate most requests and can extend deadlines if you have some issues completing it on time. After ordering your course you will receive an order confirmation email. On the date that your course starts you will be able to access the course materials.

This online intermediate Social Media course is designed for charity staff and volunteers. Participants learn how to optimise their social media profiles and content. During the training we focus on general principles which will apply across platforms but also include some demonstrations of specific actions such as creating a Twitter list.

The course is delivered by Dawn Newton, an expert in Social Media training within the charity sector. Dawn has a wealth of experience in charity communications. This training course enables charities to make the most of the free digital marketing platforms.
Bite Size Learning
You will complete the course from the comfort of your desk over a five day period. (you can extend this time considerably by up to seven days for each unit and assessment). Each unit is around 50 minutes long and ends with a tutor assessed assignment. This enables you to take what you have learned and start applying it immediately to your charity and particular situation.
This course is suitable for those charities who are already active on Twitter and or Facebook. You should, therefore have a basic understanding of them.
